Brandon serves as the Director of Finance and Budget for the Ada County Clerk’s Office in Boise, Idaho, where he oversees budget management, financial reporting, audit functions, accounts payable, payroll, and grants administration. His work includes preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and ensuring compliance with evolving GASB standards.

Before joining Ada County, Brandon spent nearly two decades at the Idaho State Controller’s Office, most recently as Bureau Chief of Finance. In his role, he supervised teams responsible for statewide ERP system operations. Prior to that, he served as Bureau Chief of Reporting and Review, where he led production of Idaho’s ACFR earning the GFOA Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting each year.

With more than 20 years of government accounting experience, Brandon brings deep expertise in governmental fund accounting, GASB standards, ERP systems, Single Audit, and fraud prevention.
